Planning to TTC in 6 months time

My husband and I are planning to ttc in approximately six months time. My BMI is a little high (27) so I would like to lose a bit of weight before trying - I have PCOS so I'm aware that this will increase our chances.

Apart from weight loss is there anything else I should be doing? Taking certain vitamins for example?

I'm on the pill, but have been advised to come off it and ttc in the window just coming off it, due to the PCOS hormones kicking in and reducing our chances the longer I'm off the pill.

    Hi,

You can take some tablets with folic acid and Vit D in for the months before you start TTC. I would recommend the Sanatogen Mother to be tablets. I took the Pregnacare ones initially but they messed with my periods, and since taking Sanatogen they have been regular.

Good luck with weight loss and hope I've helped a little. image
