Referred to hospital....what happens next???

Hi ladies I've been TTC no2 now for a year and will be referred to the hospital in January. Just wanted to know what sort of tests they do first and his long they take from when u are first referred. My hubby has had sperm analysis done in June which came back fine and Ive had day 21 bloods done in October , also fine. Anyone been through/currently going through referral/testing? Xx

I think every hospital is slightly different, but with us our dr arranged my blood tests and hubs SA before I was referred to the hospital, once the results came back from them and showed all was ok the dr referred us. I first got an appointment for the Hsg, then a couple of weeks later an appointment to discuss results, when they were ok the specialist prescribed clomid 'just to try', after 3 cycles of that and no luck the booked me in for a hysteroscopy, then again to see the specialist a few weeks after to discuss further options (which there were none, as I have 9 yr old so nhs won't fund ivf) but this would have been the stage where they put you on the waiting list.

The whole process took 6-9 months although I seemed to have an appointment every month.

Hope you get your bfp soon xx
