is it possible im pregnant

hi  me and my boyfriend have been trying now for three months to get pregnant and this month i was late on my period. i have been experiencing cramps and now 5 days after my missed period i am starting to bleed. it barely started soo not sure if im spotting or bleeding but i am also having cramps still. we havent been doing the whole ovulation check thing but we started trying this month a week before my expected period. if it is my period is it possible i am pregnant still. how do i tell if im just spotting i have never really experienced that so i dont know what to expect but is it possible to have bad cramps and bleed a little and still be pregnant or does it seem like we just going to have to keep trying
