Late Period
Hi there,
I'm new here. I have migrated from hitched.com
My partner and I have been trying for a baby for almost 6 months, although a little half hardheartedly as we don't really mind when it happens. My periods since I have come off the pill have been pretty regular, almost to the day. But this month I am late, now by about 5 days.
We are getting married in just over 2 weeks and so I suppose what I am wondering is could I be pregnant? Or is it likely that pre-wedding stress has made me late? (I don;t feel particularly stressed, but i've heard that people can skip periods before i wedding.
Also today when i was out i started to feel sick and light headed after eating lunch, but not sure if that is my mind playing tricks.
I know I should take a test but I'm scared it will be negative.
Just wondered what people thought?

Hi Nemi, as Cooper says, do a test! If it's negative, it could be because it's too early yet; lots of BFP's (Big Fat Positives) come after negatives so don't be scared! Best of luck & I look forward to seeing your BFP thread!

Do a test. I was 6 days late the first time round.
