Blood test confirmed ovulation.. no period please help !!

Hello im new so sorry if I have posted in wrong place :/

Anyway, I'm 23 and have PCOS. I came off the pill in may and had a period around 11th May,  June and July. Had an appointment on 11th Aug with my gynecologist and he did internal swabs and bloods and said no reason for me to not get pregnant. Went last Thursday to my GP for my results and he said my blood were showing I ovulated and that my testosterone is slightly high but not concerning.

I still have not had a period, about 3 or 4 maybe 5 days late? I have sore breasts with veins popping out, horrible cramps like period in my lower tummy mostly across the middle, white/clear discharge, nausea on and off, knackered.. I have had negative pregnancy tests since Saturday. 

I thought if you ovulated you had to have a period if it wasnt fertilised ?

I'm so confused. Need to go back doctor I think.
