Implantation bleeding stories!?

Hello ladies. 

So my period is due the 28th of September and on the 21st of September I experienced light pinkish discharge. It was light and I was having really bad cramps like a normal period. But than my cramps went a way and the  pinkish discharge became dark brown. Now (2 day later) the discharge is heavier but still super brown. My husband and I have been trying for a year now and I was really sure about this time because we planned to have more sex when I was ovulating and I have been on prenatal for about a month now. I dont know if this is my period trying to come or what. I'm kind of getting depressed but I know every female is different so I wanted to hear other stories. Please help and tell me what you think! Thank you.
