copper coil failed?

I have a young boy. 15 months old.. I had the coil placed a little over a month ago and I've been feeling off for a few weeks... Hungry, nausea weeing a lot, tender nipples and slight leakage. I'm not too sure if my copper coil has failed and I'm due my period in four days... However my cervix has not dropped as usual. Its high and shut... I can still feel my strings but they're slightly shorter.. Help?
