pregnancy after depo

i should be due to go back to for my depo injection in january but knowing it can take a year for my fertility to come back and wanting to plan for another baby next year i'm not going, how long did it take for other peoples fertility to return to normal after missing your next jab?

when did your periods return to normal?

does anyone have any ways for your fertility/ovulation to return quicker?

any advice much appreciated, thanks xx (PS been on the injection for 2 years next month)
