Spoting or early period ??

Hi everyone, so I'm just wondering who can give me some information on what may be going on. today I had some brown spotting on my underware, and slight bit when I wiped, but I have had nothing since. My period is due in 4 days, i have never really had this before. Has anyone had this or have a suggestion of what it could be. I am trying to conceive.

    Hard to tell I am afraid, you will have to wait and see what happens with it, it could be the start of an early period or it could possibly be implantation spotting. 

    If it doesn't turn into a period it will be four days before your levels are high enough to register on a test.
