Anyone tried clear and simple test sticks ?

Hi. I am trying for a baby and I am a few days late but irregular period. My breasts are so so sore but however the last week the clear and simple test strips have been negative. The sticks are so dodgy though that there' indent lines where the pregnancy line should be . Tried Superdrug one and that' negative too. So confused
