Trying to conceive- strange symptoms

I’d love to speak to anyone who’s had anything similar! Warning there may be TMI in here for some. Sorry!!

Me and my fiancé have been trying to conceive our second child. Our first baby is just over 1. We have been trying for just over 3 months with no success. The past week I have had a lot of early pregnancy symptoms such as hunger, major fatigue and spotting/brown discharge that stopped after 2 days. I have been so convinced I am pregnant! All tests have been a BFN though. My period was due on this Sunday coming but I appear to have started today. I’m having very painful cramps, bleeding, nausea, dizziness  and diarrhoea. These are not usual symptoms for my TOTM. Could I just be having a strange month in terms of my period? Could I be pregnant? Any help would be great!
