Confusion!! TTC and no period for 42 days.

me and my partner have being trying to conceive for about 3 months now. Everything has being going smoothly until this month, I had 42 days with no period! So I was hoping that meant I might be pregnant, I have taken multiple pregnancy tests which have all been negative how ever yesterday I started my period, today it has stopped! Please someone help me figure out what’s happening.
