Late period but negative pregnancy test?

My boyfriend and I are trying to concieve and my period is over 5 days late. This morning we went to go get a pregnancy test and both tests I took turned out negative. I don’t ever have irregular periods or any underlying conditions. I have been having some symptoms of my breasts being sensitive and darkening, cramps, mood swings, and dizziness in the past week. We then tried later on today to concieve. In this past month he would only pull out, versus today, in which he came inside. Will I be able to get pregnant?
