Regular cycles

Looking for some advice...I started taking metformin in November last year and my first two period cycles were 7 weeks apart, then my last one was 5 weeks. It's now been 5 weeks since my last one and I was wondering if anyone's period started to get back to normal after a few cycles? And also how long did it take to fall pregnant? As I've had a few symptoms but not sure whether my period cycle could just be longer than 5 weeks
