TTC after miscarriage

I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks in October and had to have a d&c. I tested positive about 5-6 days before my period that time. My husband and I ttc this past month for the first time since my d&c. I still have 1-2 days before my period and am testing negative. Did anyone else test positive at different times for different pregnancies? My MMC was my first ever pregnancy so I don’t know what is normal for women. Trying to have hope but feeling really sad and emotional since I should probably test + by now .
