Middle name needed!

I really like the name Matilda. Can anyone think of a good middle name for it?

    Are are you likely to give her a nickname i.e Tilly or would she just be Matilda?

    Both would sound lovely whether you shorten or not and are pretty girly names. Personally we opted for a family name as a middle name - Rosemarie - as a variation of Rose if that’s an option for you? I wouldn’t worry about upsetting people if you do choose a family name either, she’s your baby! Good luck when she arrives!

    Matilda Rose is really pretty or is there a family member you want to honour?
    I do not have a girl but my first son's middle name is my dad's name and my second son has a middle name of Dermot just because I really wanted him to be called Dermot but my partner preferred his now first name, so going for the second choice of the first name could also be done.

    I know a Matilda Belle and i think that's gorgeous. I think the middle name should prob be just 1 or 2 syllables though as Matilda is three, and it rolls of the tongue better.
