Ideal Gifts For Babies?
Hi! I was invited to attend a baby shower next week so I’m feeling a lot of pressure right now. I’m pressured because until now I haven’t decided on a gift for the baby. I want the gift to be something that the baby will appreciate when he grows up. I also want to give something that can be useful for him. I have read that books are a great choice for babies but I just don’t think it’s appropriate for a newborn right now? I want to buy a necklace with the baby’s name engraved on it but do you think it’s too much? If it’s not, can anybody suggest me ideal gifts for babies?

Someone brought my daughter a set of engraved cutlery with teddy bears on the handles. She loves them and uses them all the time x
but aren't teddy bears bad for newborns?
Yeah I heard also that teddy bears(stuffed toys) were not good for newborns since it causes Sudden Infant Death Syndrome due to suffocation.. I guess engraved cutlery like a necklace with baby's name engraved on it is cute, also useful and ideal... But i am still haven't decided one yet and still confused...
The teddy bears were pictures engraved on the handles of the cutlery with her name. You can buy these things on eBay like keepsake coins with baby's name and dob engraved on them and they come in a little bag they're quite cute. i was very cautious of stuffed toys around my newborn.
wow... its great.. i can now imagine what it looks like.. Im sure if i will give things that has the name of the baby engraved on it, when the baby grows up she will really love it..
Maybe give something that the mom can find useful such as a stroller or a carseat. I personally find those gifts to be the best, not the toys that just end up collecting dust and taking up space. Best of luck!

Having a baby is expensive, so why not buy something that can be used and that parents need.
