Chicken pox and a 3-month old

Meeting a friend, her little girl has chicken pox - is it ok for my 3-month old?

If they don't touch - is the risk of him catching it less?

Any advice is welcomed.

Thanks.

It's highly contagious, I really wouldn't expose such a little baby to it if it was me xx

It is a tough one to answer. Typically Chicken Pox is at its most contagious before the blisters appear but that doesn't mean you won't catch it later on once the scabs are appearing.  Baby's immunity will be lower so they are highly likely to pick things up from other children.  Do you take the chance?....
