Does anyone know how long you have to register your baby's birth and name. I thought it was 2 weeks but i'm not sure.

    It's 6 weeks unless you're in Scotland (like me) then it's 3 weeks!

    I think around 6 weeks not 100%.....
    you can register in some hospitals aswell- but dont know if you will have found a name by then????

    fao- claire, where aabout in scotland? ME and OH left it till almost 3 weeks were up, but Innes was born on the 17th December, and the office was closed for days, so we just madeit, I wonder why it's different for up here?

    Hi squirley, I'm in Blairgowrie, Perthshire but will be having bubba in Dundee (Perth Hospital is midwives only and no Obs) Dunno why it's different up here. Just like to get things done quicker LOL!! Where bouts are you?
