16month old will not sleep in her cot

Hi everyone, I’m Kristie, 25 from the UK. My daughter is called Isobel, she’s 16 months. I made the mistake of leaving her in her Moses basket way to long as she’s small so still fit in it and now I know this is my fault but now she will not sleep in her cot. It’s almost like she’s scared of it, she breaks her heart everytime I put her in it. I’ve tried leaving her to cry to see if she went to sleep bad got used to it but it’s just no good. I’ve tried, night light, ceiling light, music. Still nothing, just wondered if any of you have had the same problem & if so how did you resolve the issue?!! Please help me! Thank you 😊
