8 day old baby suffering with wind and colic

hi everyone 

I would really like some information about colic my baby kiara is 8 days old, she seems to be suffering from colic and I’m finding it really hard to wind her, i have started using infacol today but have read it takes about a week to work, I try and wind her but it only comes up in tiny burps i have read it’s better to feed her in an upright position rather then lieing down in my arms I would appreciate any information that could help as I’m sure it’s going to get worse if I don’t get more information about how to help her with trapped wind,
