Is this normal for a cot? (pic included) Could my son topple out?

So my sons 9 months old and this is a photo of him stood in his cot.. Its only
very recently he's started standing but tonight I took this pic and I'm worried as looks like he can flip out of it! I don't think it goes much lower only about 2/3 inches! Has a draw at the bottom, is this normal? Is Everybody else's cot like this? Xx

He does look high up - i think you're right. If you can lower it, I would. Also, you can pop some pillows near the bottom, so as he grows, if he's looking like he could fall over the edge, they could help protect him somewhat.
