My dad has one of these and bought it on the shopping channel. He thinks it is good and to be honest when I saw it I thought it was good as well. I don't know about energy saving though as I wouldn't know that much about it. I I think that if you put the same types of clothes in it they would dry faster therefore it wouldn't be on that long. My dad has no complaints about it anyway and it is easy to store when not using.
