Baby has diarrhoea - your advice and experience appreciated
Hi,
My son is now 19 weeks old, still on formula milk. He has had diarrhoea for over a week now, no temperature and if you didn't see his nappies, you wouldn't know he was unwell. The doctor hasn't prescribed anything, just to keep feeding him his milk to prevent dehydration which I am doing. I just can't see how the diarrhoea will improve as I feel I am feeding the bacteria in his stomach, what do you think? A week seems a very long time to have it. A sample has been sent off to be examined but I am not getting anywhere with the medical team so thought I would ask you lot.
