Colds!

Hi,

Myself and Jonny (12 weeks) have colds. Was just wondering if this will have any effect on my milk supply and feeding in general?

Also am I retricted to paracetamol to alleviate the symptoms?

    hi there,unfortunately yes i think its only paracetamol u can take really hun.I havent found colds effect my supply but when grace was very small and had a cold she fouind it difficult to feed cuz of her breathing with rthe cold.If u notice this u can go to the docs and get nasal drops to put in his nose b4 a feed.Hope ur better soon xx

    You might find a cold affects supply if you feel really ill but probably not if you've just got a sniffle. Eat well, rest a lot and drink lots of water. Yes - you're restricted to paracetamol and HM&B gave good advice about nasal drops.
