defrosting ebm?

I've frozen some milk & plan to express some more for frezzing so I can have a evening out - while my mum has Olivia - I know this may sound silly but how do I go about defrosting it? we're going out sat so do I take it out friday evening or sat morning? or when lol x

It needs to be used within 24 hours so I would take it out the morning before yr evening out so say sat morning for sat evening and put in fridge till you need to use. Or you can defrost it in warm water before use so straight from freezer to warm water to use. If you do that method then you must use straight away.
You could put as much as you think she will need in fridge then leave an emergency supply in freezer. As if you don't use all that is in the fridge it will get wasted.

also i found it helpful not to freeze it in too big portions, as it saves on waste x
