weaning a 2 and a half yr old off the breast???

A friend of mine (who doesnt post on here but needs some help) is trying to wean her little boy off the breast and isn't having much luck. He's 2 and a half and keeps demanding breast milk, he won't take it in a cup and he won't accept cows milk..... Any ideas? She is at the end of her tether and is getting married in July!!

Probably best to go cold turkey since 2 1/2 year olds have a lot of understanding. It will be hard and there will be a lot of tears but he will eventually drink when he gets thirsty!

Hi she could tell him its all gone and there is no more maybe that would work hope this helps.
