Feeding at night

Hi, I am new to this forum and in need of some advice.  My son is 10months old and still breastfed but is having problems with waking up during the night. He had got into a routine of feeding just once on the night at 4am, although I know that he shouldn't be feeding at all now that he is having 3 meals a day plus a supper. he has recently begun waking upto 3 times during the night and is wide awake.  My hubby tries to settle him but I usually end up having to feed him so he will sleep.  I don't know what is waking him up, it's not wind and he hasn't done it before.

Have you got any ideas on how I can get him to wake less often and/or cut out his feeds at night? He just cries atm and refuses to go back to sleep.
