Over feeding my newborn?

we welcomed our 2nd boy into the world 2 weeks ago and he is a greedy so and so! We’ve had to move him to formula because the boob wasn’t touching the sides. He’s now around 9.5 pounds in weight and taking 7-8x 4oz bottles a day 😳.

We’re starting to worry I we’re giving him too much. He has been ok with it all, but over past couple of days he had been wincing a lot and crying. Any advice, or reassurance is greatly appreciated!
