SMP ~ Can I Change Jobs?

Hey Lady's, first time mummy here. My little boy is 6 months old so I'm looking at going back to work, however the place I'm currently working at has really gone down hill and I don't want to be tarnished with the same brush, I've been offered a job elsewhere.. if I hand my notice in now, will I loose my remaining Maternity Pay From my current employer?
