Ma Shuizhen: a seven months old baby from No. 26, Sanshe, Xiaketuo Village, Daban Town, Dongxiang Autonomous County, Gansu Province. He was admitted to the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Maternal and Child Health Care of Gansu Province on August 30, 2022. The hospital arranged for congenital heart surgery on September 6. Parents had been told by the doctor that the surgery was successful therefore baby was staying in ICU for 20 days, during this period parents were not allowed to see him. When parents saw the child, his limbs were stiff, he could not see, he could not hear, he could not eat, and he was close to a persist vegetative states. It has been three months that the child is not getting better, parents wanted to discharge him and take him to a bigger hospital for better treatment, however they were not been able to as hospital did not agree, they locked up mother and baby in the ward, when father and grandparents went to visit them the security guards violently prevent the father, grandparents and children from entering the ward, they also beat them up. The child has pneumonia now. The situation is very serious. The child is dying can no longer wait. Please help him immediately.

I hope that the hospital will actively lead and cooperate with the father of the child to get the baby to a good hospital in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou as soon as possible, at the moment the hospital is not letting the baby to be transferred to better hospital, mother was fainted in despair yesterday, she cannot contact her husband as the police took him away, no one knows where is the father.
The baby is only 7 months old, and he has already experienced cruel pain and torture. After a heart surgery , he turned into a vegetative state. He could not close his eyes and mouth. Relying on a nasal feeding tube on the body, no one can bear it even an adult. He is still in the hospital and cannot receive better treatment. Please pay attention to this baby.
