X-ray showing “white shadow”

so last week my daughter chipped a glass biting it while drinking and thought she swallowed the shard.

We took her to a&e where they gave her a chest x-ray which ended up being fine - no sign of the glass - and we were sent home.

Anyway, the next day a doctor calls me to say all a&e scans are reviewed by another doctor, and in the bottom of the scan (just on the top of her abdomen) he could see a white shadow, that showed looking almost like bone.

But the scan only just slightly it so she needs another lower down to see what it is.

Anybody else had this or similar? I’m worrying about all the awful things it could be! XX
