Unsure of this pain

Hi Everyone



Im new to this forum (just moved across from TTC after miscarriage).



I am around 6 wks pg and today have some quite sharp pains around my lower abdomen. Is this normal?

    It is normal to experience period like cramps and muscle spasms around your groin/lower abdomen as your placenta attaches and your uterus prepares to grow and move up and out. If the pain is severe (you are doubled over with it) or you experience any bloodloss with it then contact your GP. Hope this helps and best wishes.

    It lasted for most of the day, but hasnt been back since.
