Breast abcsess
Hi there,
I'm currently undergoing treatment for a breast abcsess which I developed 3 weeks after my son was born ( he is now nearly 8 weeks). I was admitted to Hosp last week as it had developed to cellulitus and was also found to have MRSA. So I was on IV antibiotics for a week. I've had it drained twice so far which was incredibly painful. I just wondered if there is anyone else out there who has gone through a similar thing? I've heard its quite rare to develop an abcsess

Did the antibiotics not sort it out? Sounds so horrid have they said why it happened? X x x x
Hi yes they have sorted out the cellulitus and MRSA but not this abcsess itself. I just feel run down now, I'm not sure if it's because my bodies been through so much it needs chance to recover x
