Aren't some folk clever
I can be pretty feisty I when I have to be, although need to be provoked. At the mo, "someone" is having a few clever digs about various aspects of my life. It's in a very clever controlled manner, in that if I reacted this "someone" could easily make me look an ar5ehole and cause no end of arguments. Don't you hate clever ba5tards like this!!!

Urgh, so are you having to take it on the chin or can you attack?
At the mo I'm having to take it on the chin but it won't be long before i loose it. So frustrating.
Oh dear, any idea why they feel the need to do this?
Is there no satisfying cutting reply that wouldn't cause you the arguments?
Probably to make themselves feel better about their own lives! Grrrr.

I could easily say something back, but it would be clear I have reached the end of my wick and not be taking any more prisoners! I can see that this person is much more clever with words than me, and so if I argued back, they would somehow (and very easily) make me look the mug and the bad one. At the moment it's not worth the consequences however frustrating none the less. I shall have to keep saying to myself, that my day will come!
