Feeding 3 week old- is this a normal amount?
My 3 week old is consuming 3/4 oz every 2-2.5 hours. Is this normal? My mum seems to think it is a lot and he should be going longer between feeds at this amount.

That's sounds about what my LO was doing at that age, it quickly changed to 4 hourly at 8 weeks I think. Is weight gain ok?
Yes he's gaining weight well. I am wondering when I will get him to 3-4 hourly feeds. The midwife seemed to suggest he should be doing this already on this amount!
I wouldn't worry, he is still very young and will go longer between bottle when he is ready! As long as he is happy I would continue!
He wouldn't drink it of he didn't want it. He's just a hungry monkey. Follow his lead xx
Sounds normal to me. Orla was still feeding 2.5hrly up until around 5.5mths.
I have an 8week old who often feeds 2 and a half hourly.especially at night!
