Kent ladies.... Teapot Island
Over the weekend my FB has been going mad with people going to Teapot Island. I've looked up their website and to me it just looks like a place to see 6,000 teapots.
Have you been there, is there anything else to do there? What's the appeal???

I noticed on FB that pip has been there recently. I'm no where near there so not got a clue what is there.
What? 6,000 teapots? off to google
Exactly what belle says?M also off to google..
I saw Pip had been there and I imagined it was an actual island shaped like a teapot. I would be disappointed if it was anything less than this.
Sshh....I don't think Kent has employed the Dubai Palm builders.....but if you closed your eyes on the way there you could imagine this was the case lol xxx
Sorry pip if you read this but.. It looks so boring!? Don't get it at all
Yep just looked it up. Teapots. Amazing. But they do have a paint your own bit. Maybe that's why everyone has been going?
Maybe they will build an actual teapot island when they crack on with the new Disney park. In fact I may write to that Walt dude and suggest they do that instead of a castle, it's far more British than Cinderella's pink house!
It's not Disney it's Paramount Sshh
I;ve been - its pants! lol
Its literally a field with a bridge to a little tea shop which is tiny and serves hardly anything yummy like cakes, its more hot foods, there is a small play area for kids, in that its a fenced off bit of green with a slide and urm, thats it!
Yeah it looks dull to be fair, glad you confirmed it is 1st baby
Now the Hop Farm is fabulous, we must do a meet there?!
Dur! I'll write to Mr Para Mount instead then
Defo up for a hop farm meet xx the teapots can do one lol xx
I'd like to go to the hop farm!
I like the Hop Farm - the bouncy pillows are fun! What's it like now it's under new management? I had heard you have to pay for each ride you go on rather than an entrance fee?
Its fab - free to get in and you pay per thing you go on, but some things are free. Soft play is £!.50, pillows a £1 etc. Its much better value.
Anyone free wednesday to go?
I'm busy
I drive past the turning to teapot island all the time and wondered what it was!
Oh and yes the Hop Farm is fab now and much cheaper on pay per ride x
