Fairy doors - lovely magical thing or parent's nightmare?

Hello,

We’ve just heard about these little fairy doors you can 'install' at home and wondered what you thought about them.

Here’s the general gist of the fairy doors: you simply attach the little door to a wall or skirting, and fairies will come out of it at night (naturally, when the kids are asleep) and leave little notes or gifts for your child.

You can use the fairy's visits to reward good behaviour or even to help your child get over worries (the fairies will read to her questions and leave a nice comforting answer).

So what do you think? Is this a lovely, magical thing? Or frankly one of those things that you'd end up cursing because of all the time you're spending writing wretched fairy notes?
