Routine
I have a 5 week old baby my friends are telling me to get in a routine I bath him at 7,his feed r every 4 hours, he gets fed at 6 and then at 10, my friends r saying to fed him bath him and put him to bed but do I make him wait till after bath or do I give it him b for iam a 1St time mum and would really appreciate some fed back, can any one point me in right direction

getting a routine is always good with Babies. Is there any part of your routine you think needs changing ? It sounds like you have a routine with Him Already?
getting to a regular bed time like 7pm is good after his bath but you already do that don't you ?
Hi L and j, routine is great, but don't panic - your baby is only 5 weeks old, you have plenty of time for that.

Yes he does go sleep after but I bring him down stairs as I don't think u can leave them on there own yet can u, when is it when there feeds start to go bit longer, x

L J id say your right, you know what works best for you and it sounds right at his age. I'm sure youle find the forum MFMDanielle has linked to useful
With my little ones I would give half of feed 6.15. Bath 6.30,. Rest of feed 6.45 Sleep for 7. All rough times. Then dream feed at 10.30, Then wait till baby wakes through the night. Generally I find my 7 week old wakes about 2.30 and 5.30 and 8. X
