A car seat for Dodge Challenger?

Hi. Here's the problem. I've got a Dodge Challenger and it's going to be the only car I could use for the time being. The thing is... Well, it turned out to be not the most car-seat friendly car. I can't even get the Britax my daughter uses in the car.

Does anyone know if there's a good car seat she could use? Preferably not a big one.

Ok... A Dodge Challenger and a child car seat. What could possibly go wrong?

This car is certainly not family-friendly. They only made a pair of doors! I can imagine why it would be such a pain to try to install a seat. By the way, you didn't say what car seat exactly your daughter uses. Not that it matters much, any car seat would be hard to install.

Anyway, I do suggest looking for a car seat for small cars: https://carseatresearch.com/selection-of-the-best-car-seats-for-small-cars/ That will not necessarily help you since it's not the size and space you have a problem with. It's trying to install it in the first place, right? Anyway, I do suggest getting the smallest car seat you can find.

You should also try to install the seat in the middle of the rear seat as it is the safest place to install it: http://www.cdc.gov/features/passengersafety/

That would be quite a problem given that this is the ultimate muscle car, but I have seen car seats installed in even the smallest of car seats if you just know how to do it right. What I would suggest you do is find compact car seats, think the like of the Maxi Cosi Pria 85 or the Diono Radian RXT. But the thing with small cars is also about installation, if you install them right you can even get three car seats in the back of your car. But I still maintain that if you plan on having car seats maybe you should buy family cars made for use with car seats such as these http://www.autotrader.com/best-cars/7-best-cars-for-car-seats-242253

    Hi LillianJacks,

If you’re still not sure whether the dimensions will fit in your vehicle, you can go ahead and check HiFiveBaby’s post on the top five convertible car seats for small cars at here: https://hifivebaby.com/best-convertible-car-seat-for-small-cars/
