Im an accountant. Im AAT qualified and currently working my way through CIMA (Management accounts). I work for one company in their finance dept rather than at an accountants (i did start off in one but didnt like it)

So i know lots of boring things such as the legal requirements of an invoice, VAT returns, capital gains tax, tax returns etc etc. For example did you know if you wear a uniform at work which you have to wash yourself you can claim tax back!

    Right where to begin..?

Done a lot of bar work - so know about alcohol!

I've also worked in a vet's for 4 years during my collage years which included running a pet shop and dog and cat grooming! Which I'm actually quite good at!

I've done a G.N.V.Q advanced in health & social care *yawns*

I have done access to social work course 20 credits at level 3.

I then went to Goldsmiths uni and studied Social work (don't shoot me!!) it was really stressful because never seemed to be a positive outcome (so I found IMO no offence anyone doing it now! x) very little time for one on one, jack of all trades and master of none.. and not really what I wanted so I left after a year.

My main back ground is doing support work & is really what I love; I most enjoy working with young people, but can work across the board.
I am good with benefits, housing, conversing with other health professionals, advocating, working with mental health, drug & alcohol abuse/misuse, emotional problems, leaving care, homelessness, teenage parents, sex workers/ those at risk of being sexual exploited, youth offending, education, gaining employment, life skills, active listening, detached gangs work, domestic violence, travelling community, analytical thinking ..oh god BABY brain setting in lol can't remember what else along these lines.. You get the jist!
I am a qualified mediator and taught in Norway for a little while as well as over here.
I have done adventure youth work, rally racing, tobogganing, horse riding, quad biking, rock climbing, ect..
    I'm a first aider with St John's.
    CRB'd.
I am also a qualified Face Painter! (Recently took this course!)
My hobbies... I love reading, making cards, crafty things, travelling, oh and this sounds slightly odd but I'm really good at writing letter of complaint! I tend to always get quite a positive outcome! (i.e. parking tickets, company's, a way you have been treated badly or poor service received ect!) (can't believe I just wrote that bit!!

Lol sure there is more but don't want to take up all the space!
    P.S I am a Mummy!

Wow we have some clever mummy's here!

Well oh and I own our own group travel company specialising in the stag 'n' hen market so basically if your looking to organise a stag or hen party or just a girlies/group weekend away, I'm your gal!

Our main focus is Blackpool (as this is where were from) but we are just in the process of branching out nationally so can organise anything from a relaxing spa day to a wild hot steamy male strip show

I have to agree with you lizzy86. Its great to have someone to cook for you but the hours and the wages suck. My oh is upset as he has to work 7am to 2pm on xmas day. He missed our sons first xmas last year and this year he's going to miss our daughters first.

me? jack of all trades, master of none...LOL. im 23, so been workin in diff jobs for 7 yrs... due to a lot of moving about!!

left school and was a vet nurse for 2yrs, since movin up north ive mainly done office work, ranging from pharmaceuticals to civil engineering. most jobs being of the secretary/admin variety, but always had lil bits on the side as none of my managers could keep me occupied. done a bit of PA/management cover work too.

once beanie is 6mnths or so, i think im either going back to college to swat up on office management, or follow my love of animals and re-do my vet nursing and work for RSPCA or council....cant decide which...

Ah but the pay is good xmas day. I'm lucky in a way this year. OH's work went completely down the swanny so now he's chef for an army barracks near Bath and they close over xmas. He's working with a mate for most of the closed time but has xmas eve,day and boxing day off image v.v.grateful for that.

I think when Harry's a bit older and its more likely OH will be working at xmas, i'll do stocking presents and suchlike in the morning and wait til OH gets home for the presents under the tree so its sorta evened out. Everything can be worked around. xxx
