hi akaladyk ,yep i got one for ds when he was born 3 years ago and we have well had our ??60's worth out of it ,we used it when he went to stay at grandparents or when we went to visit my mum or sister ,now dd is here and we use it for a playpen too just because she is safer in there than out if im doing something in the kitchen and also we use it when she goes to stay at grandparents (well only been twice so far)but definatly worth it for us x
Personally I would just get a cheap one - as the differences are not worth the extra cash (in my oppinion).
If you are going to use it a lot then buy a mattress, but if not my LO is fine in hers every now and then. Maybe see how she gets on and buy a mattress latter on if you need to?
The matress makes them much less compact so it depends how much it is going to be 'travelled' with or not. We bought the ??40 one from mamas and papas and have travelled to grandparents with it and lo has always slept fine in it without any extra matress he has been in it for anything from 1 night to a week.
