Nursery catering for allergies

I’m after any feedback from
parents who have toddlers with food allergies that go to nursery or school.
My child can’t have cows milk so I provide special yoghurts and icecream and cheese as he was missing out in what the others were eating.
It still seems that some recipes which could be assured by using almond milk aren’t so he ends up with fish fingers ( which he hates!) instead of fish pie or a purée in place of a pudding.
Ive discusses this and asked if the meals can be adapted a day was told yes but still it seems he is a last thought and gets toast when the others get pizza.

Does anyone else have this issue? I provide enough yoghurts for the days when they are on the menu but they give him one on other days instead of what the other children have. I have to keep taking more in. They aren’t cheap either!
I think they could make some meals using the almond milk that they have onsite that’s used at breakfast?
