Going self employed whilst on maternity leave.
Just on the off chance - does anyone have any experience of going self employed whilst on maternity leave?
I am employed full time but employers only give Statutory Maternity Pay. Due back in Sept '08 but considering my options already.
I have the chance to become self employed but I would only be working a few hours a week.
Will SMP stop when I become self employed? What will happen to other benefits? If I resigned from my full time job 'today' will I get SMP from the government
So many questions!
