Back Pain after Epidural

My son was born at the end of November 2011 and I have been experience really bad back pain ever since. Sometimes its the lower back and upper bum and sometimes its my upper back. Its now started to make me miserable. I have been to my doctor and have been told to wait until he is six months old and go back but its now getting to a point where it sometimes hurts to lift my son. I had an epidural as after 12 hours labour not only was I still only 3cm dialated but my blood pressure was extremely high and was advised to have one to lower it. I also sometimes get a tingly feeling in the upper part of my back like pins and needles. Has anyone else experienced this and is there anything I can do to ease the pain? Any advice would be most appreciated...
