Gender scans in pregnancy: did you have one? And was it accurate?

Hello hello.

We definitely know that more and more people are opting to find out their baby's sex while they're pregnant – and many of you are paying for private gender scans so you can find out your baby's sex well ahead of the 20-week NHS scan (where you can ask the sonographer to tell you the sex, if you like).

So what we'd LOVE to know is, was the sex prediction right in your case? We know those sonographers can be pretty darn good at spotting the boy/girl signs but we also know it's not a 100% accuracy thing.

So, if you were told you were having a boy, did you end up having a boy? And if you were told you were having a girl, did you end up having a girl?

Or did you have a bit of a surprise when your baby was born - and find yourself with a boy when you were thinking you were having a girl (or vice versa)?

Do please let us know by adding a post to this discussion thread. It would be great to see how many scan predictions were spot on – and how many weren't!
