Contraception after giving birth

I have been prescribed the mini pill to start taking 21 days post delivery.

I have been given Cerelle which is one I've not had before. 

Does anyone have any experience of starting the mini pill 21 days after delivery and also of this particular pill? 

Did you have any side effects or excessive bleeding?
