Renting baby stuff

A friend has thought of a business idea revolving around renting out baby equipment/toys/prams etc. Initially to save all the unwanted toys that now live in our lofts (with plastic being such a pollutant maybe borrow instead of buy) but another idea is for holidays. We live in a tourist area so maybe the idea to rent a pram to save bringing one down? Does anyone have any thoughts on this kind of thing? Good or bad. Thank you.
