Cerelle-cerezette twice a day?!

Hi all,
I started taking cerelle in august, then the chemist switched me to cerezette randomly in October. On cerelle I had no side effects but had a 12 day period every 3 weeks. With cerezette Ive had no periods but every side effect basically 🙄
I spoke to the gap this afternoon and she’s put me back on cerelle but said to take two pills a day ?! I questioned it and she said it’s fine but I was just wondering if anyone else had been through a similar thing?
