What's a safe weight loss?
Hi,
I had my little boy four weeks ago on Monday and although I know its much too early to really think about losing weight, but I was wondering how much weight everyone lost after their babies were born and how long it took? I put on around 4 stone with Zach and have already lost 2 1/2 stone. This seems to me too quick. I know a lot of weight is lost by having the baby, and I'm breastfeeding which I know helps, but I've only got 1 1/2 stone to get back to my pre pregnancy weight and it just seems too quick, it's only 4 weeks. I've also lost 1/2 stone in a week which seems much too much!
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Cas

Just make sure you're eating healthily. When you breastfeed you use up more calories, so maybe you're not intaking enough & you're burning up your extra pregnancy weight.. If it's still worrying you, see your GP. Worry can make you loose weight aswell.
